This program is implemented in 4th, 5th and 6th income class municipalities nationwide to provide development assisstance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnership with Local Government Units (LGUs) and Barangay Development Councils (BDCs). The DTI shall help capacitate Barangay personnel to provide basic business advisory and information dissemination services to MSMEs in the locality. One of the services offered is the provision of livelihood packages amounting to Php 6,000.00 per recipient. The package contains items that could aid qualified affected individuals to restore and improve thier businesses in case of catastrophic events like natural and human-induced calamities including health disaster like epidemics and pandemics.
